Con solo recorrer 4 Km. desde Villavieja, por carretera pavimentada, se llega a la cima de una pequeña colina, y desde allí se contempla el llamativo paisaje del desierto, y el Observatorio Astronómico, muy visitados por los esotéricos, los nósticos, los ufólogos, pero principalmente los astrónomos.
